Job brief

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Our ideal candidate will be able to think strategically, manage risk, and communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

What your job will look like

• Develop and implement the company‘s financial strategy
• Manage financial risk
• Migrate the company‘s financial reporting from VAS to IFRS standards
• Prepare financial reports and presentations
• Oversee the accounting and reporting functions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Support & Coach more junior team members with day to day responsibilities on running the team, such as:

• • Oversight of our key metrics
  • Goal/project delivery
  • Writing/updating process/guidance
  • Creating and delivery of adhoc coaching/training
  • Closing gaps/risks through specific actions
  • Change and embedment plans 

You should apply if

• You have a bachelor or above degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. An MBA would be preferred
• You have at least 5 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on the fintech or payment industry is preferred
• You have solid knowledge in applying IFRS standards to financial reporting
• You ideally have a deep understanding of the fintech and payment industry, as well as the financial regulations that govern these industries
• You have experience in managing and running projects/leading large scale change
• You have experience being data led to drive change or innovation
• You enjoy coaching and getting results through people
• You have a collaborative and inclusive approach to how you work within a team
• You are hands on and roll your sleeves up when required
• You are a great communicator
• You thrive under pressure and comfortable working on multiple priorities 

It would be easier for you to get started if

• You are proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and most financial/data modeling software
• You already own some finance/accounting related certifications such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, CMA

Our hiring process

2. Our HR will give you a call and ask a few questions to get to know you better 
3. Depending on which position you are applying for, our HR will share with you some tests for you to complete
4. If you pass the tests, we will arrange with you for an onsite interview
5. If successful, we will send you an offer letter
