Vidiva (“We”) respects your privacy and is committed to the security of your personal data. We take our responsibility seriously regarding managing, protecting, and handling your personal data appropriately.

Please note this data privacy notice is intended to inform you about how we collect and process your information, including any information you provide to us through the app/website when you register for an account, download guides or other content, and/or use Vidiva’s services.

Vidiva has the right to adjust, supplement the provisions in this notice in accordance with Vietnamese law and Vidiva’s policies at any given time. At any time, you agree that continuing to use Vidiva’s services after changes and updates to this notice means you consent to the modified and updated policies and regulations of Vidiva. All previous versions of the privacy notice will be retained for your convenience to access and reference changes.

The Vidiva website may have links to third-party websites, plugins, and applications. Clicking on or allowing these links may allow third parties to collect or share your data. We do not control these third-party websites, and they are solely responsible for their privacy policies. When you leave our website, you should read the privacy policies of each website you visit.

The information we hold about you must be accurate and up-to-date. Therefore, please inform us if your information changes while using our services. You can file complaints with us regarding information security through the Contact Information (Section 8 of this notice).

  • Usage information: Information about how you use the Vidiva website and Vidiva’s services.

We also collect, use, and share aggregated information such as statistical data for business operation purposes. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature.

No Special Categories of Personal Data about you (such as details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, political opinions, information about your health, genetic or biometric data) will be collected. We also do not intentionally collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

If you fail to provide information: In cases where we need to collect user identification information as required by intermediary payment activities and you do not provide it when requested, we regret that we will not be able to provide our services to you, but we will notify you and attempt to clarify the reason.

3. Why and How We Collect and Use Your Information

We only collect and use your information when permitted by law. Typically, we collect and use your information in the following cases:

  • Compliance with regulations or legal requirements, for example, we must comply with the requirements for electronic wallet account records (Circular 23/2019/TT-NHNN dated November 22, 2019).
  • When we contact you to confirm your information and requests.

  • When necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party).

5. Information Security, Data

We have taken appropriate security measures such as encrypting account passwords (non-reversible encrypted passwords), encrypting ID card/CCCD/passport information, obscuring bank account numbers and Bank cards when your personal data is lost, used, or accessed unlawfully, altered, or disclosed. Furthermore, we limit access to your personal data to employees, sales agents, suppliers, and other third parties with a legitimate business need to know. They will only process your personal data according to our instructions and are responsible for securing the databases.

We will handle any suspected breaches related to personal data and will notify you and any relevant regulatory authorities of any breach. In addition, you agree that Vidiva has the right to request the competent court to resolve according to Vietnamese law as needed.

6. Data Information Storage

We will only retain the necessary information reasonably for the purposes we need or we are required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or reporting regulations. Your information may be stored for longer in case of complaints or if we identify signs of disputes related to us.
